Mr. Rob Bethune

Rob brings a wealth of clinical expertise to the team, being a Colorectal Consultant Surgeon at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. Rob runs the Quality Improvement Academy in Exeter having previously set up a region wide quality improvement and patient safety collaborative across the South West of England. He then went on to be the Chief Investigator for a NIHR evaluation of the whole improvement and safety collaborative across the English NHS.

He also was on the UK Department of Health Human Factors steering group and has published widely on patient safety, human factors and quality improvement.
